Our story

Behind Bícolo is María, passionate about fashion, art, and the beauty hidden in small details.

From a young age, she knew she wanted to dedicate her life to a world where creativity was paramount. After studying Journalism and specializing in Fashion Communication and Marketing, she began her professional career in various media, where she learned that a good story is not only told but also conveyed through emotions.

Later, she ventured into the fashion industry, working for different brands and discovering firsthand the entire creative process behind a collection: from initial inspiration to design, production, and how a garment connects with the wearer.

Over time, she began to feel something was missing. She struggled to find unique dresses with personality that combined femininity, elegance, and originality without being commonplace.

That's when she decided to create Bícolo.

A project born from the desire to design special pieces, crafted with care and intended for women who want to feel unique during those moments they will remember for a lifetime.

Today, that same enthusiasm is still present in every collection. Each dress is born from an idea, evolves through dozens of trials, and ultimately becomes a piece created to excite, accompany, and be part of unforgettable memories.

Made in Spain, with time and care

Every collection is designed in Barcelona and manufactured entirely in Spain, working hand-in-hand with specialized workshops that share our understanding of fashion.

We believe in local production, in the value of the hands that craft each garment, and in the importance of caring for the entire process. We carefully select fabrics, develop patterns, conduct fittings, and review every finish until we achieve the desired result.

We opt for limited productions because we don't want to manufacture thousands of units. We prefer to create small quantities and dedicate the time and attention each piece deserves.

This approach allows us to preserve the exclusivity of our designs, avoid overproduction, and guarantee higher quality in every collection.
